The open application period for the statewide Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) for the 2020-2021 school year began February 3, 2020 and runs through May 14, 2020.
Step 1: Online Parent Application
- Each year parents must complete the online parent application.
- A valid email is required. Parents will receive a confirmation email after they submit an application with directions regarding the supporting documentation parents must provide to the school(s) to complete the application process.
- Parents may only apply during the open application period. The open application period for the WPCP for the 2020-2021 school year is February 3, 2020-April 16, 2020.
Step 2: Supporting Documentation
Parents must provide supporting documentation during the open application period, as directed in the online parent application and the confirmation email, or their application is ineligible.
All parents must provide residency documentation directly to HPCS during the open application period.
Parents of new students must show they are income eligible by either:
OR using the Department of Public Instruction Income Determination method by answering a series of income questions in the online parent application. Income documentation must be directly provided to HPCS.
