Thank you for your interest in High Point Christian School! We hope you find the information useful and helpful as you consider Christian education at HPCS for your child.

High Point Christian School (HPCS) was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area.  As of September 2018, HPCS began serving the greater Mount Horeb community, alongside Life Church-Mount Horeb.  Our two campuses offer a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment for grades Kindergarten-Eighth.  In addition, our Madison Campus also serves our families with 3K and 4K Preschool programs.

Throughout our humble beginnings with 30 students, to now having over 260 students between two campuses, we continue to strive for academic excellence and offer classes and programs that consistently challenge our students.  Our classes and programs are rooted in our mission to develop students who are committed disciples of Jesus Christ through the use of an excellent, comprehensive, Biblically-integrated education program.
For a family considering a partnership with HPCS, it is important to understand our reliance on the Bible as the inspired Word of God, and the foundation for all that we teach.  HPCS has a strong academic program which instills the disciplines and skills necessary for each of our students to become successful in life.  We are committed to developing the whole person: intellectually, spiritually, socially, and physically.
Our educational philosophy provides a balanced approach in this development of the whole person. Exposure to fine arts encourages students to develop their talents, gifts, and abilities in ways that have the potential to influence their community for the rest of their lives.  Through athletics, HPCS provides opportunities for students to healthily compete against area schools as a member of the MAISL organization in middle school.  It is a foundational element to our mission, that a Christ-focused worldview be integrated into each subject and activity.
HPCS is one school that helps make up Impact Christian Schools (ICS).  ICS provides academic and school leadership for Christian schools with a much bigger vision than just providing quality education.  ICS aims to come alongside what God would do when His presence intersects education.  The outcome?  A robust educational environment where children can grow into great people, know their purpose, their identity, and how to participate in a community where others flourish as well.
Again, thank you for your interest in our school.  We'd love to have your family join ours and be part of the growing Christian education community of which we are blessed to belong.
