  • High Point Christian School (formerly Middleton Christian School) has been in existence since 1975.

  • High Point Christian School — Mount Horeb will be open for the 2019-20 school year. 

  • Regular school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:23 p.m.

  • High Point Christian School chooses curriculum materials from both Christian and secular publishers and reevaluates these selections annually.

  • Special instruction in art, music and physical education is offered to students in grades K — 8. Spanish is offered to students in grades 1 – 8. Computer classes are offered to students in grades 1 – 8. 

  • Middle school is comprised of grades 5 – 8. Examples of past middle school electives include Design Zone, Student Council, Get Smart tutoring, Incredible Machines, Concerts in the Mezzanine, Band, Stage, Worship Team, Advanced Art, Organized Sports, Digital Photography, Woodworking and Missions Possible.

  • High Point Christian School belongs to the Madison Area Independent Sports League (MAISL). Beginning in grade 5, both boys and girls have the option to participate in interscholastic athletics -- football, track, volleyball, softball, and basketball. 

  • The average years of teaching experience of our teachers is over 10 years.  All full-time teachers are fully certified.

  • We have been blessed with an outstanding facility that features an art room, computer lab and gym.  Our on-site library holds over 21,000 volumes.

  • Teachers at High Point Christian School seek to integrate Biblical teachings into classroom subjects and daily school activities.  We teach about God's creation, God's sovereignty throughout history, and His moral absolutes.

  • We strive to develop Christian character in our students through weekly chapel services and an age-appropriate Bible curriculum at every grade level.

  • We encourage students to openly discuss faith both in and out of the classroom.

  • High Point Christian School staff members are available to care for, pray with and pray for our students.  Our staff meets regularly before the students arrive for prayer and devotions.
